JOHN SULLIVAN
Managing DirectorJohn Sullivan, usually known as JS, joined the ESAO team after 5 years with DEA as the Head of Operations, where he was responsible for delivering DEA ISR, Survey and Commercial Air Transport tasking across Europe. He is a former RAF fighter pilot and instructor, which included command of a front-line squadron before moving on to a series of senior leadership roles overseas, in countries including Canada, Portugal, Germany and the United States. In taking on the role of Managing Director, JS is responsible for growing ESAO as an enterprise at the heart of Europe, to include identifying new opportunities and addressing the challenges anticipated in a growing and vibrant aviation sector.
CHRISTIAN GRECH
Head of OperationsAs Head of Operations, Christian coordinates ESAO between the Ground, Flight and Airworthiness Teams. His oversight and support to the teams enable a steady operational tempo; maintain standards that meet the requirements by the National Authorities and Customers; and contribute as necessary to the dynamic and talented teams when on tasks keeping flight safety as a priority. Christian has over fifteen years of experience in the Military and Civil Aviation Sector. He is a former AFM Fixed wing section leader and pilot with experience in Maritime Search and Rescue; and ISR Operations.
DR. ROBERT PERRETT
Nominated Person Crew TrainingRobert is an experienced King Air (BE90/200/350) Line Check Captain and EASA Examiner. Possessing many years of experience as a nominated person, Robert has vast experience of operations and flight instruction within the ISR environment as well as developing AOC and ATO Manuals. Robert holds a PhD and a range of professional qualifications and has been an Associate Professor at various universities around the world.
SERGIU BEJAN
Nominated Person Flight OperationsSergiu was appointed Nominated Person Flight Operations in July 2021. He is responsible for the oversight, management and coordination of the Flight Operations Department. Sergiu has held various senior Flight Operations roles, founded on his extensive specialised operations experience as a Captain on King Air B300/1900 and DA42/62 aircraft.
